'Rudhramadevi' left Aditi Chengappa awestruck

Chennai, Nov 24 (IANS): Southern actress Aditi Chengappa, who plays an important role in upcoming Telugu period-drama "Rudhramadevi", says the experience of working in the film left her completely awestruck.

"I was mostly awestruck during the course of the shoot. Everywhere you look on the sets, there's so much to be in awe about. From the sets to the costumes, there's so much to rave about," Aditi told IANS.

"I was also in awe of the cast, which sometimes was quite intimidating because it's not easy to share stage with some great actors. There were so many scenes when all the actors would be seen in one frame. To be present alongside them and act can take your breath away," she said.

Aditi was equally mesmerised by the technology used for the movie, which is being shot in 3D.

"I'm a gadget geek and I love photography. Whenever I'm not shooting, I'll be near the cameraman asking him questions about shooting in 3D and the lenses. It's quite fascinating because this is the first time I'm being part of a 3D film," she added.

Directed and produced by Gunasekhar, "Rudhramadevi" features Anushka Shetty in the titular character. It's the story of Kakatiya dynasty.

The film also features Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, and Adithya Menon in important roles.

Aditi plays Anushka's sister in the film, which is expected to release early next year.

Meanwhile, the Bangalore-based actress is awaiting the release of Tamil thriller "Ra" and also has a bilingual up her sleeve.
