Kuwait, Nov 14: Konkanni Kullvaar Kuwait organized a family day-out in KOC gardern recently.

The day began with a short prayer by Prashant Ferrao. Convener Lancy Pinto Nayak welcomed the gathering. Ivan Almeida and companions sang the Konkani songs.

As part of the proceedings,  Kullvaar's official meeting was also held. Members were requested to submit their write-ups for the book proposed to be published soon.

After games and lunch, groupwise competitions were held. Konkani Quiz was conducted by Prashant Ferrao, general knowledge quiz by Lancy Pinto Nayak and other games were held.

In the evening, humorous poetry session was organized by David Lewis Talloor. Ida Lobo Agrar, Shaan bondel, David Lewis Talloor, Lancy Pinto Nayak and Carol Martis presented their poems. The new member, Austin Brahmavar, drew special appreciation.

Lancy Pinto Nayak thanked the gathering who joined in entertainment. Forty members attended the event which had Jacintha Pinto Nayak (Umed Prakashan) as chief guest.
