Bangalore, Nov 12: Lioness Council Dist 324 D6 along with councillor for Leadership and Education Lns. Ushakumari organized a seminar on Leadership at MEWS, Malleshwaram, Bangalore on Nov 11th . The  programme began with an invocation dance by Nritya and Aditya, students from Nritya Niketan School, Bangalore.

District chairman for Lioness clubs, Ln Krishnamurty welcomed the gathering. Lns Naveen Sridhar presented the report of the Council along with future programmes. Lns Champaka, council treasurer briefed the members on the accounts.

 

Ln Nagaraj Rao, who is also a chairman for Diabetic awareness from Lions Club of Someshwarapura was the main speaker of the day. He enlightened the gathering as to how to be a "Mature Leader" which was very informative and useful.

Lns Savitha was the second speaker of the day and she spoke about "Power Point presentation on Leadership" with presentation skills. Both the talks were supported by slide shows which kept the audience engrossed.

Lions International director 2006-2008 Ln Ramakrishna Murthy PMJF made a special appearance at the programme which was a pleasant surprise. 

District governor Ln V V Krishna Reddy was the chief guest of the day. Other distinguished guests were vice dist governor Ln. Veknatachalam, Ln Achutananda Reddy, past district governor Lns Saroja Naidu and past associate chairperson.

Lns. Jessie rodrigues compered the function. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Lns Ushakumari.
