Kundapur, Nov 11: A young man hailing from Koragi near here has been hacked to death in Bangalore where he was working on Friday November 10 night.

The murdered has been identified as Raghavendra Shetty (22), a resident of Koragi here.  He was working for "V Manjunatha Condiments and Travels" near Rajajinagar in Bangalore for the last 2 months.  On Friday night he was murdered by his fellow worker Deepu (20) who hailed from Kerala.

Deepu had joined the job only a few days ago.  The sources said that he killed Raghvendra to steal money and other valuables of the shop which were in Raghavendra's possession.  The owner of the shop Sudheendra Shetty had given the shop in possession of the employees and the latter were looking after the day-to-day business and even money-matters.

The murder came to light on Saturday morning when milkmen who placed milk packets at the door of the shop early in the morning came back around 8 and found that none of the packets were sold. So they opened the shutter which was not locked and found Raghavendra dead.
