Udupi, Nov 11: Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy has organized a workshop on "voveo-vers" (traditional songs sung during marriage) at Souharda Bhavan at Kolalgiri near here on Sunday November 12. The day-long workshop will conclude with 'mhan monis ek mulakhat' programme in the evening.
Academy president Eric Ozario is the director the workshop while Hilda D'Souza. Irene Rebello and Ravi Stevan will be the resource persons.
Shantaram Baliga, editor of Panchkadai and Louis D'Almeida, senior Konkani writer and activists will be felicitated on the occasion by the academy. Ammunje Yashwanth Nayak, a businessman from Kolalgiri will be the chief guest and Giri parish priest Fr Jerome Monteiro will be the guest of honour. Eric Ozario will preside over.
