Mangalore, Nov 10: The Congress Party has expelled two of his corporators James D’Souza and Kavita Sanil from the primary membership of the party for six years. The corporators have been served letters from the District Congress president Blasius M D’Souza.

Kavita was made the chairman of the Town Planning Standing committee by defeating the official candidate Kamalaksha Salyan during the elections.

The duo was involved in cross voting and thus defied the whip by joining hands with the BJP.

It has also been found that the duo was not served any notice prior to the expulsion.

The KPCC general secretary Manjunath Bhandary has released the order for expulsion.
