Gurgaon property dealer shot dead


Gurgaon, Nov 3 (IANS): A property dealer was shot dead by unidentified assailants here Monday, police said.

The victim was identified as Virender Kumar Kundu, 42, a resident of Ashok Vihar phase-3.

A police official said that "Kundu's body was found inside a vehicle. He was shot twice (in the neck and the thigh). The incident took place around 1 p.m."

The official added: "The key of the vehicle was found near the body. It seemed that the killer had some discussion with Kundu before shooting him. We are investigating."

Property dispute may be one of the reasons behind the murder.

Though the incident occurred in front of a petrol pump, no one heard the gunshots.

A case against unidentified people was registered at the sector 10 A police station.
