'Errabus' will leave audiences emotionally high: Dasari

Chennai, Oct 25 (IANS) Filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao says upcoming Telugu drama "Errabus", a remake of Tamil hit "Manjapai", will leave audiences emotionally high. He says the remake is not a copy of the original.

"The grandfather-grandson relationship will sweep audiences off their feet. It will leave them emotionally high. When I watched the Tamil version, I was touched by the film," Dasari told IANS.

"I really liked the original but we've made changes in the remake to suit the local sensibilities," he said.

Dasari has essayed the role of the grandfather in the film, which stars Manchu Vishnu as his grandson.

"I liked the grandfather's role a lot. I initially planned to cast someone else but eventually decided to do it myself. It was nice to act for a change after a while," he added.

Also starring Catherine Tresa, "Errabus" is gearing up for release soon.
