Jebel Ali, Oct 3: The Jebel Ali Church will be celebrating the feast of their Patron Saint - St. Francis of Assisi on 6th October 2006.
 
In commemoration of the festal celebrations, a large number of  nearly 3000 devotees, parishioners and well wishers from all over the UAE are expected to join in the celebrations. Nearly 6 bus loads of people are expected from Abu Dhabi alone.
 
Elaborate arrangements have been made. 14 Food Stalls have been organised in the church compound by the various parish communities with their specialities  and mouth watering cuisines. There are also 12 games stalls in the basement, variety entertainment in the Parish Hall.  The main attraction is the Lucky dip draw which has enticing and exciting prizes to offer.  The grand prize is a Car,  2 business class tickets to Europe, 2 economy class air tickets to Indian sub continent and other 18 other surprising prizes.
 
The solemn feast day celebrations will start with the Holy Mass at 3.30 p.m. followed by the socio-cultural activities and entertainment.
 
All are coridally invited to attend the festal celebrations and take part in the joyous entertainment which has been specially arranged by the Parishioners.
