Kuwait, Sept 14: Ballerine`s school of dance organized “Showcase-2006” on 14th September 2006 Thursday from 6.30 pm onwards at the Masra Hawally Auditorium, Kuwait. This program was a plat form for the students of Ballerine`s school of dance to display their talents with rhythm and dance.

“This is Life” based on a true life incident was narrated through a story enacted by Pele D`souza, Angeline D`souza & Chetan Carlo and illustrated through a dance sequence ranging from Filmy dance to classical dances. Every moment of the three hours show was thoroughly enjoyed by the hall full of audience with a capacity of over 700.

The show starts with Grandpa narrating story to his granddaughter and grandson about a boy who rescued a girl from the tribal group and the two falls in love. As the hero was talented in dance, he had given dance programs right from his childhood days and had won a lot of laurels. With the times gone and as the love birds pass through a film shooting the hero gets the idea of setting up his own dance school and requests the heroin to support him with his new venture. The heroin gives her consent. Together they become popular because of their efficiency and team work. Due to work constrains and busy schedules they both cannot meet as before. The story takes a twist when the heroin finds another boy in her life and ditches her real life time hero. Hero is not able to take this and lives an isolated life.

During this time when the hero passes through a very critical mental stress his family, friends and dance school students console him and convince him how to live.

“If you love something let it go,
If it returns to you it is yours,
If it doesn’t it is gone”.

“This is life ….and the show must go on”. The Hero starts a new chapter with a new life… a life with full of charm, joy and happiness. He starts his dance classes again and his dance school becomes more popular than before.

Live Music with foot tapping songs in between the story was staged by Sham & friends. The program was well compered by Mashesh Prabhu. On behalf of Sudhi Fronteiro the Director of BSD and the Event Manager Diany Coutinho, the Compere Mahesh Prabhu proposed a vote of thanks and also announced the new opening of a new branch of Ballerine`s School of dance from 1st October 2006 at the Carmel School Kuwait – Khaitan.
