Pune, Sep 11: The Mangalorean Catholic Association (R) Pune, celebrated the feast of Nativity in Our Lady of Consoler Church here. The festive Mass was offered by Fr Joe Mathias SJ, director, NVSC, and Fr Alwyn Sequeira OCD, preached the sermon.

Fr Walter Saldanha, Fr Jack Menezes, Fr Bonaventure Rodrigues, Fr Jayaprakash D’Souza, Fr Savio Cutinho, Fr Ronald D’Souza and Fr Richard Quadros, were the concelebrants. 

Anthony Rasquinha, working president, Electro Primatic and Hydraulic (India) Pvt Ltd and Fr Edwin D’Mello, were the chief guests on the occasion.

Aloysius Saldanha, president of the association welcomed, while Benjamin Mathias, secretary, presented the report. A D’Souza, treasurer, introduced the guests and Br Deepak Noronha, compered the programme. Harold R Lobo, editor of ‘Mangalorean In Touch’, proposed the vote of thanks.

Gregory Sequeira Niddodi and troupe presented an entertainment programme in Konkani.
