Sep 8: On the occasion of the feast of nativity of our Lady, the Gantalkatte Lady of Perpetual Succor Church has organized the blessings of Corns in front of the church Grotto at 7.45 a.m. Soon after the blessings the blessed corn was taken in the procession to the church along with children offering their flowers to Mother Mary during the eucharistic's celebration people offered their first fruit to mother mary which was auctioned after the mass and the money was used for a significant purpose of the parish . 







Soon after the mass sweets were distributed for all the elders and to the children and then after sugar cane was distributed to the children who offered flowers to Mother Mary .

Belur is a Historical City famous for Chennakeshave Temple. In that city the Catholic presence is very less. This Parish has 28 families and 17 in Substation that is in Tholalu.


 
              

This year we had grand celebration of Monthi feast. Good many children no matter what religion they are came honor our Heavenly Mother. Fr. Maxim D'Almeida OCD was the main celebrant. He preached an effective homily on The Motherhood of Mary and our earthly mother. Fr. Cyril Menezes OCD blessed the new corn.
