Mangalore, Sep 2: A cultural meet on the occasion of Onam celebrations was inaugurated at SDM Law College by Intelligence Bureau (MHA), government of India, Mangalore deputy Central Intelligence officer K K Chandran on Friday September 1.

This was the 14th year celebrations of Onam organized by Malayali Samaj of SDM Law College.

College principal B K Ravidran Shetty, SP B Dayananda, former principal A Rajendra Shetty, Malayali Samaj chairman P D Sebastian and Shahul Hameed were also present on the occasion.

During the day-long celebrations, Sinkari Melam, performed by 22 persons from Sri Kurumba Vadya Kalasangam of Kannoor district of Kerala was the centre of attraction.
