Moodbidri: Andrew D'Souza of Taccode Gets District-level Best Teacher Award

Moodbidri, Sep 1: Andrew D'Souza, a teacher in St Joseph's Higher Primary School at Taccode near here has been selected for the prestigious district-level "Best Teacher" award.

A total number of 7 primary section teachers and 5 high school section teachers have been chosen for the award for the current year. Somappa Gatti, headmaster of Bagambila primary school, Chandravati Rai, headmistress of Mallakad primary school, Devaki H of Manchi-Kukkaje higher primary school, Sitaram Bhat of Kabaka, Devappa Naik of Panja and Rama P Salian of Kukkeri primary school too have been chosen for the award.

High School Section:

Dayand Rai, PT teacher of Navodaya School at Bettampadi, Puttur, Sadashiv Bhat of Satyasayi Lokaseva high school, Bantwal, B Balanna Gowda, Nehru Memorial high school at Arantodu near Sullia, Venkatramana Bhat of Shri Manjunathershwara high school, Dharmasthala and Ashok Kumar of Mangala Jyothi Integrated school have been chosen for the 'Best High School Teacher" award.
