Mangalore, Aug 30: The Thai-registered luxury passenger liner "Pacific Princess" which entered the New Mangalore Port here on Wednesday, it became the cynosure of the eyes of the residents on the seaface around the city.

NMPT's traffic manager Gopalakrishna, speaking exclusively to Daijiworld, said that the cruiser is carrying 630 passengers from different countries like USA, Europe and others. Out of them, 266 disembarked on Wednesday for sight-seeing in Mangalore.

Interestingly, all the passengers are in the age group of 50 to 80 years of age. The cruiser is expected to sail off to Goa, onward to Mumbai. It will touch Mangalore again on September 3.
