Fake judge arrested for blackmailing women using their obscene video, pictures


Gurgaon, Aug 11 (Bhaskar News) : A 33-year-old man has been arrested in the satellite city for impersonating as a judge, blackmailing women and duping people of crores of rupees.
 
According to the Gurgaon police, Ashish Bishnoi was arrested by the Crime Branch on Friday night from Hisar following a complaint filed by a female journalist in Sector-18 police station.
 
The woman said in her complaint that Bishnoi first befriended her and clicked some indecent photos. Thereafter, he started blackmailing the journalist.
 
Acting swiftly on her compliant, the police verified judicial records to verify Bishnoi's credentials. During investigations, it was found that he had been living in a rented accommodation in a post locality in the National Capital Region (NCR) since 2010 and used to travel with two bodyguards in a red beacon-fitted luxury car.
 
He duped many people of crores of rupees by promising them Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) flats.
 
The police said Bishnoi had been blackmailing women for the last seven years by clicking their objectionable photographs and making obscene videos. Cops had got complaints from three women - two of them were his live-in partners.
 
The Crime Branch of the Gurgaon police formed two teams, one of which raided his Gurgaon residence and the other his Hisar home. He was picked from Hisar.
 
The police seized some of his photos with high-ranking officials, including Gurgaon Police Commissioner Alok Mittal, from his Toyata Fotuner car.
 
He had been briefly jailed in 2004 for using a fake identity card to get a SIM card.
 
He has been booked under sections 419, 420, 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 72 of IT Act.
