Married IAF personnel face housing shortage


New Delhi, Aug 8 (IANS): There is a shortfall of accommodation for married Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel in Rajasthan, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley said Friday.

The minister was asked in the Lok Sabha if air force personnel, including technical and other staff, were facing a problem of lack of houses in western Rajasthan.

The minister said in a statement that a special project had been taken up to speedily construct houses for married air force personnel.
