Mumbai, Aug 2: A major portion of Hansa industrial estate at suburban Andheri was gutted in a fire that broke out on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Eight fire tenders and equal number of fire engines fought for over two hours to extinguish the fire, police said adding that no person was hurt in the incident.
The Hansa industrial estate is located at Saki Vihar in east Andheri and houses several manufacturing units and offices.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, police said.
