Mumbai, Jul 20: The Jagajyothi Kalavrinda recently organized a literary programme ‘Isiri’ at the Dombivili Dhathe Mangala hall here.
Dr Sunita M Shettty, well-known writer, presided over the programme. Seetharam Shetty was the chief guest, while Jayshree Nagesh was present as the guest of honour.
‘Little Star’, a compilation of poems in English by children Sitara Prabhu and Shruthi Prabhu, was released by Jayshree Nagesh. Sitara and Shruthi then read out some poems from their collection.
A poetry session was also held as part of the event.
Sukumar N Shetty, president of Kalavrinda, welcomed the gathering. Vasanth N Suvarna, compered the programme.
Umesh D Suvarna, treasurer, Ramesh M Shetty, secretary, were present on the dais.
