Udupi, Jun 2: 'City Centre', the first luxury lifestyle mall in Udupi, and new shopping destination for the people of Udupi-Manipal will be ready by the end of July 2015.

Udupi being a coastal town has become a popular tourist destination. Close to Udupi town, Manipal has evolved into an international education and healthcare hub. Students from different corners of the world studying here are look for world class national as well as international brands. 


The City Centre Mall, designed to cater to all customer needs, is coming up on 1.07 acre of land and will have 1,72,000 sq ft built-in area with 225 commercial shops measuring from 54 sq. ft. to 4,572 sq. ft. Nearly 170 cars and more than 100 two-wheelers can be parked at a time in the basement of the building.
 
The mall is all set to become a landmark shopping destination in Udupi, with showrooms, stores, service outlets, food court, cafes, multi-cuisine restaurants, gaming zone, and a children’s play area. Situated in a strategic location with Udupi service and city bus stand on both side and Jamia Masjid in front, the mall, once completed, shall be a feather in the cap of Udupi’s glistening landscape.
 
The mall is taking shape with completion of the structure. The next level of construction work is progressing rapidly and some of the main anchor stores, of both national and international brands, are being finalized.
 
The project is being undertaken by Udupi Developers. The builders promise a world class experience at City Centre Mall.


Key Features
 
The mall will comprise four levels of retail shopping space with classy design and architecture. The basement level will be fully utilized for parking of four-wheelers and two-wheelers, and all floors will be connected with four high-speed automatic passenger lifts, escalators at all levels, one freight lift, and a garbage chute for easy disposal of waste. The fully air-conditioned mall shall have uninterrupted power supply and shall be fully equipped with all fire protection and fire fighting systems.
 
The food court will house a large seating capacity accommodating 200-plus customers with as many as 15 express counters offering local, fast food, and multi-cuisine delicacies along with a terrace garden.

The project is being undertaken by Udupi Developers, and is expected to be ready by July 2015, tentatively.
