Indiana Pacers guard fined for flopping


Washington, May 22 (IANS): NBA fined Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson $5,000 for flopping in the Pacers' 83-87 loss to Miami Heat in the Eastern Finals Game 2.

Stephenson threw himself to the floor after an elbow from Miami Heat forward LeBron James with 3:37 remaining in the third quarter of the game Tuesday, NBA officials said Wednesday, reports Xinhua.

Stephenson averages 14.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists for the Pacers in this season's playoffs. 

He scored a game-high 25 points Tuesday.
