Jung mum on government formation in Delhi

New Delhi, May 21 (IANS): Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung Wednesday refused to comment on the process of government formation in the national capital.

"I cannot comment on such issues," Jung told reporters here when asked about the possibility of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) again forming a government.

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal Tuesday met Jung and asked him not to dissolve the Delhi assembly for a week so that he could explore the possibility of forming a minority government.

Kejriwal resigned Feb 14 after a 49-day stint as chief minister following his failure to get the Jan Lokpal bill passed.

Since then, Delhi has been under President's Rule but the assembly was not dissolved.
