Spurs take 3-0 lead after defeating Blazers


Washington, May 11 (IANS): The San Antonio Spurs got a 3-0 lead over the Portland Trail Blazers after winning 118-103 in the NBA.

The Spurs were within one win to advance to the Western Conference Finals after the victory Saturday. Tony Parker scored 29 points, including 20 in the first half, to lead the Spurs. Tim Duncan had 19 points while Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobili added 16 and 14, respectively, reports Xinhua.

All the five starters of the Trail Blazers had double figures but they only got six points off the bench. Wesley Matthews had 22 points while LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard had 21 apiece.
