Heat breeze past Nets in NBA


Washington, May 9 (IANS): Miami Heat beat the Brooklyn Nets 114-97 to get a comfortable 2-0 lead in the NBA Eastern Conference semi-final series.

LeBron James had 22 points for the Heat while Chris Bosh made 18 Thursday. Dwyane and Ray Allen got 14 and 13 points, respectively, reports Xinhua.

Mirza Teletovic hit six three-pointers to get a team-high 20 points for the Nets. Shaun Livingston scored 15 points and Paul Pierce and Joe Johnson each took 13 apiece.
