Warm Tuesday in Delhi, cloudy Wednesday expected


New Delhi, April 15 (IANS): The national capital experienced a warm Tuesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy Wednesday with possibility of rain in some areas.

"The sky will be partly cloudy, with a possibility of one or two spells of very light rain or thunderstorm in some areas," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday's minimum temperature settled at 20.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.

The day's maximum and minimum humidity was recorded at 82 percent and 30 percent respectively.

Monday's maximum temperature settled at a notch below the season's average at 34.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 21.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
