Abu Dhabi, Jun 14: The UAE government wants to launch a satellite which would cover the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia and Europe, a Boeing official told Gulf News.

Called Yahsat, it would be operated by an Abu Dhabi government-controlled company.

Feasibility studies have been completed while more details will be revealed later this year.
