I'm still with Syco: James Arthur

London, April 8 (IANS): James Arthur was reportedly fired from his association with record label Syco by music mogul Simon Cowell for distasteful and controversial lyrics. But the singer has denied it.

The singer insists he's not yet been dropped by the record label, reports mirror.co.uk

Arthur took to Twitter denying the reports, saying: "As far as I know, I am still with syco but I am exclusively signed to Sony."

The singer was reportedly fired by Cowell for certain controversial lyrics in his new material.

The lyrics go like this - “I am going to blow your family up like I am a terrorist."
