It is not the right age for him to marry now, says Virat Kohli's mother

New Delhi, Apr 7 (Agencies) : In the wake of English women's cricketer Danielle Wyatt's 'Kholi (sic) marry me' tweet, Virat Kohli's mother Saroj clarified that it will be a while before her cricket star son ties the knot.

"It is not the right age for Virat to marry now," said Mrs Kohli, over the phone on Sunday from Delhi. Wyatt was impressed with Kohli's batting show (unbeaten 72) in the ICC World T20 semi-final against South Africa last week and took to Twitter to express her admiration. "We can't think of his marriage for another four to five years. He has just started playing (international) cricket. He has to concentrate on his batting and career ahead," Saroj added.

News about actor Anushka Sharma's alleged love affair with Kohli has been doing the rounds for sometime now. The actress was said to have travelled to New Zealand and Sri Lanka to meet Kohli.
