Mumbai, Jun 4: The body of Vivek Moitra, secretary of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, who died under mysterious circumstances at New Delhi, arrived here, party sources said.
"It (the body) reached Mumbai airport at 10.40 pm on Saturday," the sources said.
The body was taken to Municipal Corporation Hospital at Vashi in neighbouring Navi Mumbai where it will be kept during the night, they said.
The cremation will take place at around 11 am.
BJP leaders Bhai Girkar, MangalPrabhat Lodha and BJP MLC Madhu Chavan were present at the airport when the body came.
Earlier, Moitra's body, was handed over to his family members and BJP MP from Maharashtra Haribhau Rathore in New Delhi this afternoon after completion of official proceedings.
