AC Milan target Brazilian players Doria, Gabriel

Rio de Janeiro, Feb 28 (IANS): AC Milan are reportedly preparing a summer move for highly rated Brazilian pair Doria and Gabriel.

Both caught the eye of Milan coach Clarence Seedorf during the former Dutch international's 18-month spell as a player at Botafogo, which ended last month, reported Xinhua.

Central defender Doria is Brazil's under-20 captain and has also been linked to Barcelona and Juventus.

Gabriel, 21, is a central midfielder who is known to be highly rated by Seedorf.

Milan are currently ninth in Italy's Serie A standings, 10 points behind a Champions League place with only 13 matches remaining.

Seedorf is understood to have requested a raft of new signings to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
