India 87/1; chasing 407 in first Test


Auckland, Feb 8 (IANS): India were 87 for one chasing a record 407-run target against New Zealand at stumps on day three of the first Test at Eden Park here Saturday.

Shikhar Dhawan (49) and Cheteshwar Pujara (22) were in the middle.

India made 202 in the first innings and made a comeback into the game after bowling out New Zealand for 105.

The hosts made 503 in their first innings.
