Indore, Jan 31 (IANS): The Asia/Oceania Group I Davis Cup second singles match here Friday between India's Somdev Devvarman and Ti Chen of Chinese Taipei had to be suspended due to bad light.
Somdev, who has beaten his 284th ranked opponent on both occasions they have met earlier, was stretched to his limit with the match going into a five-setter.
The Ti Chen-Devvarman match was tied 6-7, 7-6, 1-6, 6-2, 7-7 when play was suspended.
