Auckland, Jan 25 (IANS): New Zealand scored 314 runs in 50 overs against India in the third One-day International at Eden Park here Saturday.

Opener Martin Guptill made 111 runs off 129 balls and Kane Willamson 65 runs off 74.

Ravindra Jadeja (2/47) and Ravichandran Ashwin (1/47) were the most economical of the Indian bowlers.

Earlier, India won the toss and opted to field.

Fast bowler Varun Aaron replaced Ishant Sharma in the Indian playing eleven.

India trail 0-2 in the five-match series.
