Spurs beat Warrior without big three


Washington, Dec 20 (IANS): San Antonio Spurs beat the Golden State Warriors 104-102 without Manu Ginobili, Tim Duncan and Tony Parker on court in a National Basketball Association (NBA) match.

Marco Belinelli became the top scorer of Spurs with 28 points. Kawhi Leonard and Patty Mills had 21 and 20 points, respectively, Thursday, reports Xinhua.

It was a close game. Stephen Curry tied the score for the Warriors with 28 seconds left, only to see Tiago Spliter tipped in a key basket with two seconds left. Curry failed to score in the final couple of seconds, and the Warriors lost the game.

David Lee had a team-best 32 points. Curry finished with 30 points and 15 assists. Klay Thompson added 13.
