Nigeria win Copa Lagos Beach Soccer 2013

Lagos, Dec 16 (IANS): Nigeria's Sand Eagles retained the 2013 Copa Lagos Beach Soccer title, defeating Senegal 4-2.

The Nigerian team successfully defended the title they won last year Sunday. They have now won the competition three times in a row, reports Xinhua.

The head coach of the Nigerian team, Audu Adamu said after the game that he was happy with his team's performance.

"This is the third time we are winning this tournament and you can see that we have improved over the years."

"All the teams that participated in the tournament are good, it is a pity that one team had to take the trophy home at the end of the day," he said.
