Chinese Football Association to new manager


Beijing, Nov 23 (IANS): The Chinese Football Association is seeking a new manager to replace interim coach Fu Bo for the country's men's national team.

According to a statement on the assocciation's website, the new manager will be responsible for China's attempt to reach the 2018 World Cup final and therefore, the incumbeent will probably receive a long-term contract. Candidates interested in the job can contact Chinese Football Association from Nov 22 to Dec 10, reports Xinhua.

Eight games without defeat, Fu Bo has fulfilled his responsibilities as interim manager of the Chinese team, and he admitted in his Sina Weibo (Twitter-like micro blog) he could have done better in the 2015 Asian Cup qualifiers and he will accept whatever be the decision.
