US beat Brazil 4-1 in women's football friendly


New York, Nov 11 (IANS): Sydney Leroux scored twice in the first half as the USA women's football team beat Brazil 4-1 in an international friendly.

Abby Wambach also scored in the first half and Erika Tymrak added the other goal for the US Sunday. The Americans finished the year with 13 wins and three draws, reports Xinhua.

It's the sixth time for that the US have enjoyed an undefeated year.
