U-19 Windies to tour Bangladesh for seven ODIs


St. Johns (Antigua), Nov 9 (IANS/CMC): The West Indies Under 19 cricket team will tour Bangladesh to play seven One-Day Internationals (ODI) from Dec 7-20.

The Caribbean squad will leave Nov 30 and return Dec 22 and the matches will be played in Sylhet or Chittagong and Dhaka.

The two teams recently played a hard fought seven-match series in Guyana which Bangladesh won 4-3.

The series is also part of the preparations for the Under-19 World Cup to be played in the United Arab Emirates in February.

The schedule:

Dec 7: First ODI in Sylhet or Chittagong
Dec 9: Second ODI in Sylhet or Chittagong
Dec 12: Third ODI in Sylhet or Chittagong
Dec 13: Fourth ODI in Sylhet or Chittagong
Dec 16: Fifth ODI in Dhaka
Dec 18: Sixth ODI in Dhaka
Dec 20: Seventh ODI in Dhaka
