2013 Indian GP lacking in star appeal

Greater Noida, Oct 27 (IANS): Unlike the last two editions, the 2013 Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix seems to be lacking in star appeal as very few famous names have turned up for the race here Sunday.

The first two years saw an influx of stars, like cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, at the Buddh International Circuit paddock.

This year only actors Gulshan Grover and Gul Panag and Human Resource Development Minister Shashi Tharoor with his wife Sunanda Pushkar have been seen visiting the circuit along with shooter Ronjan Sodhi.

The main grandstand also looks sparse ahead of Sunday's race with almost half the seats empty.
