Netherlands, Georgia advance in UEFA U-17 qualifiers


Tbilisi (Georgia), Oct 20 (IANS): The Netherlands and hosts Georgia won their respective second round matches to gain early advancements from their Group XI qualification of the UEFA 2014 European Under-17 Football Championship.

The Netherlands routed San Marino 12-0 for their second consecutive victory Saturday while Georgia defeated the Faroe Islands with two unanswered goals, for also their second consecutive win. The two winners will meet in the last round of their group qualifier next week, reports Xinhua.
