Myanmar to play football friendlies in Japan


Yangon (Myanmar), Oct 19 (IANS): Myanmar's football team will play friendly matches in Japan next month in preparation for the 27th SEA Games.

Myanmar is set to take on Japanese league teams during its Nov 1-10 visit, reports Xinhua.

During the SEA Games, Yangon will host men's football group matches at Thuwunna Stadium from Dec 1 to 17.

After the group stages, matches will take place in Zeyar Thiri Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw.
