New Delhi, Sep 22 (IANS): It was a pleasant Sunday morning in the capital. The minimum temperature was recorded at 22.7 degrees Celsius, two notches below average. The Met office has forecast light rain in some parts of the city.
"The skies will become partly cloudy during the day, with light rain and thundershowers in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 89 percent.
The capital recorded a total of 28.6 mm of rainfall since 8.30 p.m. Saturday.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 24.9 degrees Celsius, both average for this time of the year.
