Bangalore, Feb 25: Kannada actress Prema has planned a high-profile wedding after she got engaged to fellow Kodava Jeevan Appachu on Thursday February 23.

After a successful career in Kannada film world Prema decided to get married and an alliance was arranged by her parents.

The engagement at Kodava Samaj was attended by 200 guests.

Jeevan who is from Somwarpet is elder to Prema by two years and is two inches taller than Prema.

He is a software and HR consultant, who runs his own firm in Koramangala.

The wedding has been scheduled to take place in the Kodava Samaj premises here n May 5 and 6.

The betrothal too was held at the same venue.

Prema has acted in close to 100 South Indian movies, including 70 Kannada movies.

Her hits include Upendra, Nammura Mandara Hoove, Yajemana, Om, Kaurava, Gajina Mane, Chandrodaya, Kotigalu Saar Kotigalu and Parva.

Her first Kannada movie was Savyasachi, when she was a II PU student.
