BCS press release

Mumbai, Feb 25: The Bombay Catholic Sabha, in a press release,  has welcomed the Best Bakery judgement and expressed a hope that it would act as a deterrent for fundamentalist / Fascist forces in continuing such acts of crime against humanity.

BCS has also applauded the role of the NGO'S and public-spirited activists from Gujarat, Mumbai and the rest of the country who fought this battle to seek justice.

BCS says it has a special word of appreciation to the Citizens for Justice and Peace, Teesta Setalvad, Mihir Desai of India Centre for Human Rights and Law and so many others whose names run into volumes.

The Bombay Catholic Sabha salutes these bravehearts and wishes that their struggle to seek redressal of the wrongs for crimes against humanity would go a long way in building a strong, united and secular India, says the statement.
