India to host U-19 quadrangular ODI series


Mumbai, Sep 17 (IANS): India will host an Under-19 quadrangular One-day series involving Australia, South Africa and Zimbabwe in Vishakhapatnam from Sep 23 and Oct 5, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced Tuesday.

All the teams will play each other twice. The matches will be played at the YSR Stadium and the Port Stadium.

The top two teams will play each other in the final and the remaining two for third and fourth places.

The 15-member Under-19 Indian team will be led by Vijay Zol, said board secretary Sanjay Patel.

Oct 3: Zimbabwe vs South Africa (YSR Stadium); Australia vs India (Port Stadium)
