Canada, Serbia 1-1 in Davis Cup semis


Belgrade, Sep 14 (IANS): Big-serving Milos Raonic beat Janko Tipsarevic in five sets and helped Canada tie 1-1 with Serbia in the Davis Cup semifinal.

Raonic fired 34 aces to subdue Tipsarevic 5-7, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 in four hours. Earlier, World No.1 Novak Djokovic brushed off Vasek Pospisil 6-2, 6-0, 6-4 to give Serbia a 1-0 lead Friday, reports Xinhua.

The winner will take on either the Czech Republic or Argentina in the final in November.
