PM releases stamp on Lala Jagat Narain

New Delhi, Sep 9 (IANS): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Monday released a postage stamp on freedom fighter, parliamentarian and journalist Lala Jagat Narain.

The prime minister described him as a brave freedom fighter, a fearless journalist and an able parliamentarian.

"The morals and principles of journalism set up by Lala Jagat Narain continue to guide journalists across the country. He opposed any move to curb freedom of media," he said.
