Mangalore, Feb 18: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) of St Paul's Church Balkunje have organized a cultural evening to mark the 34 anniversary celebrations of the parish on Sunday February 19 evening at 6.30 pm.

The "Yuvafest - 2006" (Youth fest) will include dance, songs, comedy skits by the parish youth.  But the main attraction of the evening will be "Tisro Dollo", a Konkani play by famous Konkani writer Richard D'Souza Kavtar of Sangati Media.  Richard who hails from the same parish is also the animator of ICYM Balkunje unit.

The programme will be presided over by Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy president Erric Ozario. Kennedy P A D'Souza, director Sacred Heart Career Academy and Stephen Quadros Permude, lecturer of history, Government College, Kaup will be the chief guest of the programme.

The thanksgiving Mass on the occasion of 34 anniversary of St Pauls' Chuch, Balkunje will be celebrated at 8.15 am on Sunday February 19.  Fr Abraham D'Souza, SVD, assistant director, Divine Word Retreat Centre, Mulki will celebrate the solemn Eucharistic celebration.
