Karkala, Feb 17: On Monday February 13, an accident wherein a car collided with a bike at Sanoor-Murattangai near here, left the bike rider N Pradeep Kamat, seriously injured.

Kamat (43), who was admitted in a private hospital at Mangalore, however succumbed to his head injury on Thursday February 16, as he failed to respond to the treatment.

Kamat was looking into the affairs of Sudarshan Rice Mill at Sanoor. He is survived by parents, wife Deepali Kamat who is an architect and twin daughters.

The Karkala town police have registered a case.
