Mangalore, Feb 15:  The famous Kadri Manjunatha temple here is all set to hold the Brahmakalashotsava from April 24 to May 2.

Temple managing trustee A J Shetty, informed that the utsav which is usually held once in 12 years, was delayed this time owing to many developmental works undertaken by the temple trust and hence could not provide enough funds for the utsav.

The cost to perform the utsav has been estimated to be Rs 35 lac, said Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, senior trustee of the temple and since the temple is in need of funds, he appealed to the public to contribute generously to the cause.

The unique "Mahadanda Rudrabhisheka" will be held during the utsav, said trustee Anantharama Rao.
